Full of life and color, Castle Crashers is a retro-inspired story that holds up to this day. The game's story is told with no dialogue, with the main focus being on the wacky antics the knights endure on their adventure. In order to save the day, you and your group will have to travel far across the land, battling various enemies as you rescue the princesses one by one. Suddenly, a levitating wizard with a stolen crystal kidnaps the four princesses, dragging them away to various parts of the kingdom. At the start of the game, you and your knight friends are celebrating with the rest of the kingdom, partying it up at the king's castle. The story in Castle Crashers is simple and straightforward, echoing classic fantasy stories throughout its roughly 8-hour adventure.
